EASTER EGG HUNT - CLUE G
Jesus’ friend Thomas couldn’t believe Jesus was really alive again. Jesus was kind to him and let him put his finger in the scars in his hands to prove it was really him, that he was physically alive. Thomas knew that only God can rise from the dead, that’s why he said to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!” Jesus also helped his friends believe he was really alive by helping them catch so many fish that their nets were too full, even though they had caught nothing for hours. Jesus also made them breakfast and ate bread and fish to prove he was actually there!
John 20:26-28
A week later, Jesus’ disciples were in the house again. Thomas was with them. Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came in and stood among them. He said, “May peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here. See my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
John 21:10-13
Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.” So Simon Peter climbed back into the boat. He dragged the net to shore. It was full of large fish. There were 153 of them. But even with that many fish the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them. He did the same thing with the fish.
